Our work.

ICM was commissioned by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to conduct a large-scale (1,200) B2B project on the awareness of competition law among UK businesses. Using our own in-house call centre, ICM contacted those in charge of sales in micro, small, medium and large businesses in range of different market sectors, across the UK.

The research focused on gauging to what extent UK businesses are aware of the rules and penalties surrounding anti-competitive practices such as resale price-fixing and market sharing, and how this differs by region, business size and sector. In addition, ICM compared results to the initial wave of research conducted in 2014 to measure how perceptions and behaviours had changed over the four year period.
